Welcome to the Cat Clinic of North Georgia, a unique veterinary practice part of the Georgia Veterinary Associates' facilities, where cats are our specialty. There are no dogs, birds or other animals to stress, tease or tempt your furry friend, just the best medical care available for your feline companion. We understand that your
cat veterinary hospital
cat is not just a pet, they are a part of your family! We maintain an AAHA accreditation and our goal is to provide the highest quality medicine and surgery in a low stress, cat friendly environment.

Cat and kitten wellness is our area of focus. One of our core values is treating your cat as we would our own. We understand the special bond you have with them, and we are dedicated to providing individualized care for their particular needs. We focus on preventative medicine so that we can enjoy our relationship with you and your cat for years to come. Our veterinarian, Dr. Maureen Singh has a special interest in feline medicine. Her continuing education is focused on feline medicine, which allows her to develop a higher level of competence in treating cats. From wellness exams and vaccinations, to sick care, surgeries, blood work and geriatric care, the staff at the Cat Clinic of North Georgia offers the finest treatment available.

Care for your cat at our veterinary hospital ranges from preventative care including vaccinations, grooming, and dentistry. Laser therapy and other treatments are also available if your cat is in pain or ill. Since our veterinary hospital only sees cats, you have the assurance that your cat will receive high quality, focused care. Our clinic serves kitten and cat owners living in the Cumming, Alpharetta, Suwanee, Roswell, and Duluth areas of Georgia.

Cat and Kitten Wellness Includes Preventative Care

Cat and kitten wellness care at our veterinary hospital starts when your pet is a just a baby and extends into senior age. Older cats need different treatments and care than younger cats. During a wellness exam, our cat veterinarian will make sure your pet is current on
cats
vaccinations and make recommendations for diet and nutrition based on age and needs. Diet and nutrition may change as cats grow older and some cats may need extra help if they are too heavy.

Grooming your cat is also an essential part of wellness, as is maintaining healthy dental care. Cats have a set of baby teeth and a set of adult teeth throughout their lives. In some cases, the adult teeth need to be pulled, due to diseases such as gingivitis or because the tooth broke due to trauma or chewing on a hard object. Our Cumming vets will make sure your cat's teeth are in good shape. Our team also offers free nail trims for cat clients who are current on their vaccines.

Veterinary Hospital Provides Advanced Care for Sick Cats

Our veterinary hospital in Cumming also offers laser therapy and surgical treatments for cats that are in pain or otherwise ill. Laser treatments help your cat heal more quickly after a surgical procedure or can help relieve the aches and pains associated with conditions such as arthritis, which are common in older cats. Our hospital also has an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray services and pharmacy, making picking up medications and getting the results of your cat's tests convenient.

At The Cat Clinic of North Georgia, we enjoy spending our days doing what we love most – working with cats! Please feel free to stop by and visit any time.
